NOT YOUR NORMAL CONFERENCE

ALWAYS SISTERS is not your normal women’s conference. It’s unique in that our aim is to bless our sisters both here in Ontario, and in Haiti. Everything we do within DREAM BIG WITH US has that mandate attached and ALWAYS SISTERS exemplifies this so beautifully.

HELP FOR HAITI

A portion of the funds needed to put on this conference is covered by private donations which is why we can keep the cost so reasonable - and why a significant part of your registration fee helps us, help Haiti! You will also be given an opportunity to give to DREAM BIG WITH US in the ONE offering we take throughout the conference. These funds will be poured into meeting the needs of our Nan Rasin families AND the over 1,000 prisoners that include women, and sad to say, many children in the prison we care for. 

SE MACHÉ MARKETPLACE

We also have a “SE MACHÉ” which is Haitian Creole for “SISTERS MARKETPLACE” – that is filled with a variety of goodies to buy. Your purchases at SE MACHÉ, again, help us, help Haiti! The vendors’ fees all go to Haiti, plus many of our generous and amazing vendors give a portion, if not all, of their proceeds to DREAM BIG WITH US. 

BACKPACKS

AND this year we are going to be PACKING 555 BACK PACKS for our First Nation kids in Moosonee!

Yup! We have promised to give a FULLY STOCKED BACK PACK to every single student!

So we’re asking each of our registrants to bring at least ONE BACK PACK plus supplies!

SUPPLY LIST:
Backpack, lunch bag, water bottle, notebooks, pencil case, pencils, pens, erasers, glue sticks, coloured pencils, washable markers, folders, scissors ruler, tape, sharpeners, highlighters, calculator (Gr 3-6), index cards (Gr 3-8), binders (Grade 3-8), report covers (Gr 3-8), loose leaf lined paper (Gr 6-8), scientific calculator (Gr 6-8), graph paper (Gr 6-8), protractors (Gr 6-8).

AN OASIS

ALWAYS SISTERS is an oasis for the soul. No one leaves the same as when they came. We have awesome, Jesus loving, live like they’re leaving, Holy Spirit intoxicated conduits, who share whatever the Holy Spirit fills their mouths to say and incredible vessels who lift our eyes off the temporary and on to the eternal through songs of praise and surrender to our Jesus.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

ALWAYS SISTERS is held at BRAESIDE CAMP – a Christian Conference Grounds that has been around for almost one hundreds years. It’s filled with towering trees and quiet nooks that are perfect for sitting with Jesus so that He can remind you just how much He loves you. They offer cozy cottages, hotel rooms and campsites at an incredibly reasonable price. Call 519-442-3773 to book. We promise you when you step foot on the grounds, you’ll never want to leave.

Saturday morning begins with muffins from TIMMY’S and coffee from STARBUCKS! 

Saturday lunch is guaranteed to be beyond yummy!

Both BREAKFAST and LUNCH are included in your registration!

Our CAFÉ that is open throughout the weekend, is filled with scrumptious treats that are available for you to PURCHASE, and ALL proceeds are used to help us, help HAITI!

Our CAFE will be selling home-made PULLED PORK ON A BUN on Friday from 5 PM - 7 PM for just $5.

  • Always Sisters is geared towards women ages 11+. We want women of all generations to show up!

  • We are providing free childcare for ages 1-5 for all Breakaways and Sessions.

  • Registration will be available at the door but it is highly recommended and preferred that you register online beforehand so that our cafe can be ready for guests.

  • IF coming up with the registration money is a challenge for you - PLEASE tell us (info@dreambigwithus.ca) - and we will help you in any way we can!  We don't want anyone to have to stay home just because of the money! 

  • IF money is NOT a problem for you and you'd like to help one of your sisters come to ALWAYS SISTERS - please go to our donation page and bless another sister! https://www.dreambigwithus.ca/donate-1

  • No it is not. If you cannot come, we will use it to bless a sister who otherwise couldn’t afford to come.
